16gb Memory Card Issue

My HTC Desire is rooted and with APP2SD installed, however I have just purchased a new 16gb memory card and when inserted the phone just goes into an infinite loop on the boot image.

I have done a full reset so I know there's no issue with a missing app from the old SDcard.

Has anybody had any issues like this, or can somebody help shed some light on the problem?

just gonna have to reflash ur rom. happened to me when i got a new card, once i reflashed the rom and partitioned the new card, everything worked ok.

Try partitioning your card using PC, and then insert it into phone.

I think that APP2SD is trying to mount non existent partition and whole boot process fails. Use some partitioning software for PC to create parition schema required for APP2SD.

Probably you can partition your card using recovery in some way, but still using PC, a card reader and some soft will be the easiest way.

That methode looks like it is using a very old version of the one from this site, use the newest found here:
