Share Internet from PC to mobile

I have problem with my wifi connection (probably defected hw) and I just want to ask if there is any way to connect desire to notebook via USB and get connection from pc?

I believe you can if your wireless card allows you to set it up as an access point. But I'm not sure if you can share by USB.
