Dell PC Suite, version: 0.0.40

Has anyone else had a problem with Dell PC Suite?

however I install it, it causes my PC to crash whenever i click Windows Explorer. I have to do a system restore to fix it

I have Dell PC Suite, version: 0.0.40

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate

Dell dont have a downloadable version of the Dell PC Suite :)

Am I using a duff version?

• Do you know when I can get a different version number or Dell PC Suite?
  

Dell are being unhelpful and have asked me to contact o2, o2 have rightfully said... it's a Dell software issue!

Any help would be appreciated

Win7 Pro 64 bit no problems! The suite doesn't actually do anything useful (for me), is there some reason you want it?

Just to sync with Outlook, unless I can use something else (?)

Email? Contacts? Calendar? All of the above? You could try using touchdown. Have you tried running the dell suite in compatibility mode, or with admin rights?

touchdown is only a demo, so i'll resist using

No join with either Admin or Compat' modes

However I try and install it, during installation it the image below is displayed... Is this normal ? I guess this the root of the problem?
