UPDATE: Sorry my bad! This isn't the case. The free ram on O2 is just the same as B7610. I misunderstood it.

Can anybody inform some admin to close/delete this thread?

Hey Guys,

Since Daskalos wasn't answering my request to share him 6.5.3 OEM and I want to make a 6.5.3 rom customized according to my needs for personal use, I was searching the Omnia II forum for the JD1 rom. In that process I found out that Omnia II stock roms have more 140 MB free ram!!!, specially the JD1. Now how is that possible?? Omnia II also has 256 MB Ram and virtually the same hardware as this phone, then why there is so much difference in available ram?

Is it because B7610's roms are still in early stage and the story was same with omnia II also earlier? Or was it always like this for Omnia II? if so how? This is very disheartening, I bought this phone because it has similar hardware as omnia and added hardware keyboard. This RAM difference is too much!

Can any expert in this forum throw some light over this?
