Guest TeeZeR Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 (edited) I have an Omnia which I bought over a year ago. I started having signal problems in the early stages, basically never experienced the joys of having this phone. 1) The phone started loosing network signal after my second week with it. It's a bit funny how this happens, but in about 5 minutes 1.5 minutes of that will be spent with the signal, 0.5 min searching for signal and the rest of the three minutes without signal. It just goes on and off continuously in that 5 minutes. 2) I called my network operator and they obviously told me the problem was with samsung. 3) I took the phone to Samsung, they did some software updgrade as they suggested that it was the problem. 4) One week later the problem started again 5) I installed the official South African ROM, and the phone worked for a couple of months before the problem started again. 6) Yesterday I installed the Phillipines ROM, DXIA5 (the one with the fix to that "Incorrect Software Version" problem), which was successful in installing, but still got the signal problems. 7) I tried to remove that and install the South African version again (JBIC1), since I'm still getting the same problem. I had no luck as I'm now getting the Incorrect Software Version message. Can I get help regarding this please? How do I change back and get past that Incorrect Software version problem?
