Phone stuck in boot loop

I rather foolishly formatted the sd card on my phone thinking it would be ok if done inside the phone, but now the phone is stuck in a boot loop.

I followed all the recovery guides on here but with no luck, I really don't know what to.

any suggestions? im worried ive bricked my phone :-(

p.s was using stock december ROM, never used custom one so had no backups of any sort.

just tried to apply december update but says update failed, can get into the recovery menu and apply rom but still no luck
