Uber Noob ROM updating...

Hi Board,

in my android noobness I was hoping to be pointed to the best way to update my Pulse. I'm currently running 2.1 Hungarian update [loaded as per this site thanks!]

I wanted to customize the ROM? but got easily confused with the different 'flavours' vanilla, etc.,

I couldn't find an easy [easy enough for me;)] step-through-guide for me to begin to customize my Pulse or am I redefining noobism?

Im with you on this one mate, i updated mine to 2.1 hungary via this site, and now want to exploit android, but it needs breaking down into baby steps for me too!

Have a look at this thread.

It explains what to do if you have a unrooted 1.5 Pulse.

This is applicable to 2.1 Pulse's too.

Just download a 2.1 custom ROM like this or this.

I could do with somone making an idiots guide on how to route my phone, as I now have 2.1 and its unlocked but I have no room left for all the great apps.
