Dell tells me the Streak will be available in July, in the USA.

I have TMobile now with my HD2, but would really rather have an Android based phone with bigger screen.

Does anyone know if it will work on the USA network of T-Mobile.?

thanks

From what I read, Dell will be offering it direct, via their site, unlocked for $500.

Making you very lucky.

It will work, but I don't think it has the Tmo AWS frequencies needed for 3G. So it will be slightly less functional.

My Streak prototype worked on T-Mobile's 3G when I took it to New York in February (for the Engadget Show Live). Probably lacks AWS as crackerbox has pointed out, but it didn't seem to bother me.

Working there would be my dream job... plus I'm way cooler than Paul Miller.

Richard, put a good word in for me. I right real good, not to mentoin I'm a awsome speller, and grate with grammer.

But seriously, I would kill to work there.

Thanks everyone for your comments.

I have contacted the sale manager for Dell, that we purchase all our equipment from, and hope he can snag me

one when they arrive.

Cheers

You said your Prototype worked on T-Mobile 3g, was it a US Prototype or a UK model, I am getting kind of tired of waiting and am thinking of getting

the UK Model with a rebel sim to use on Tmobile US. Thanks for any info you can provide.

How does the rebel sim change the radio band, it needs WCDMA band IV for TMOUSA, and the UK model has

bands II and V for AT&T.

If the rom can change the functional frequencies of the radio, then that is awesome.
