Help following first flashed rom - all locked up

I installed ocks gtx ultra light version and that went very smoothly - no errors

I then started to install my various apps etc and then following a soft reset the phone did not reconnect.

I powered back off and noticed that the time had not moved on and nothing was actually responding.

I have removed the battery and tried again and now there is a strange speckly effect on the screen and nothing else

weiedest part is the initial samsung omnia screen followed by the starting windows screen are perfectly normal.

What has gone wrong and what can I do please.
