Guest NexusOne_Newbie Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 Hi, I successfully rooted my nexus one EPE54B, following Superboot instructions posted by Paul http://android.modaco.com/content/google-n...-the-nexus-one/ But afterwards, I found that my WiFi is not working. It says "Unable to start WiFi". All I did was to unlock the phone w fastboot, and then rooted w Superboot. I didn't flash in any ROM /recovery image. Anybody can help? Really appreciated! Thanks!
Guest Hap Hazard Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 I've had some issues with Wifi recently. After rebooting, I get "Error" under my Wifi status. To fix it, I have to ADB shell into the phone and "chmod 666 /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf". You could use a terminal to do that, as well - just make sure you "su" first. Not sure if that will work for you but it surely works for me. Note: I am on Froyo, not your stock, superuser build.
