Guest bugicide Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 I have just flashed my stock rom to 3.1 with A2SD+ by using fake-flash. What to do next to make the A2SD+ work. I have a 4G SD card. Big thanks.

Back up the contents of your SD Card to your PC - boot to recovery and partition you SD Card (512MB EXT, the rest FAT) - restore the contents of the card from your PC - err... that's it. See threads on here and on XDA about backup of EXT partitions for possible further action. Edited June 18, 2010 by Pieronip
Guest bugicide Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 I couldn't find the partition tool anywhere in the recovery mode. 1)volume down + power 2)select recovery 3)volume up + power then I get to the Android system recovery <2e> screen there are four options there reboot apply sdcard:update.zip wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition 4) apply sdcard to get to the fake flash screen, there are a list of options: reboot apply sdcard wipe data wipe cache install zip nandroid partition menu and advanced in the partition menu there are mount/amount/format various drives options that's all where do I get to the partition tool?
Guest lambrospower Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 to get that option you must get into the recovery with paul's method......enter recovery mode (red triangle) and then run recovery-windows.bat or linux from the root4 or 5 method.
Guest bugicide Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 Thanks! Where can I find the r4/r5 method, Paul has updated the pages, I can only see the r6.

I am not sure about fake-flash, but you can use the pushfiles method to partition and install A2SD. See the 'Install Apps2SD' Method here: http://nimbu.amorvi.com/2010/05/how-to-root-your-htc-desire/
