Guest Azurren Posted June 22, 2010 Report Posted June 22, 2010 (edited) http://android.modaco.com/content/t-mobile...-with-pictures/ Job done ;) Actually that guide is completely outdated :( Note: This will erase everything off your phone Download the "Official" Tmobile 2.1 update from here: http://www.t-mobile.hu/lakossagi/keszuleke...elefon/pulse_21 (Direct link) http://www.t-mobile.hu/static/szoftverek/t...lse_21_B815.zip Extract the zip and copy the "dload" folder onto the root of your SD card. (Root = not in any other folder :)) Power off your phone, Hold the Power + Volume Up + Endcall (Red) until it displays an "Preparing update screen" Wait. Confirm that you wish to continue with the update and let it run its course. However you will need to pull the battery out when it has finished and displaying a "Restarting" message as it doesn't restart :D To play it safe just wait a min or so on the "restarting" screen If you want to use the "Official" rom: Delete the dload folder from your SD card Open the CUSTOMIZED_HU folder that you extracted onto your PC, copy the dload folder onto your pulse Repeat the above to apply the patch (Fixes some issues) If you want to install a custom rom: Don't do the above ;) Just follow a guide on how to install a custom rom, the previous guide posted above (the one with pictures) is a perfect guide for newbies ;) My advise would be to install the FLB rom Hope this helps Edited June 22, 2010 by Azurren

But I never waited when I flashed the official ROM a couple of times, I have no patience and let me say, my phone works OK. By the way, ever thought of making a bigger, better guide? Just like, a new thread but just downloadable attachments that are the guide for individual things (Install stock 2.1, Recovery, Custom ROM, framework, boot animation, revert to 1.5, etc.)
