can't find the (not downloadable) link for the french v20a (v2.1) version without provider?

Only the bouygues, SFR or orange version but just want a from scratch version!

any idea?

it's 1.6...

Yes . At this time these are the only available rom in hungarian as the many other localalized ROM-s on the first post are 1.6.

NEED HELP...

i have install 2.1 russian and i can't update to italian firmware....

if i use lg update say that mine soft is already the last..

how can i do to download 2.1 italian??

there isn't an italian eclair (2.1) rom out yet, once it becomes available, you will be able to do this

I am discovering the whole topic. I want to use the french ROM on my LG GT540 but I am a bit confused. Can you clarify it to me ?

1/ There is 2 methods in this topic

1.1/ Using KP500-Utils with firmware transcoded as .cab file

1.2/ KDZ_FW_UPD tool which needs on top of that windows enabler

Which one is the good one ?

2/ Does both methods are requiring some drivers to install ? If yes, where to find them as I found no link.

1. Download, save and extract the following to the desktop:

KDZ File: http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/swdata/WEBSW..._00/V20A_00.kdz

KDZ FW UPdater: http://files.gameworld.kz/5p8mpt3f1n.html

LG Android Driver: http://files.gameworld.kz/c5z46n1ukk.html

2. Install LG Android Driver.

3. On your phone, go to Settings > Applications > Development and set phone into debugging.

4. Connect phone via USB Cable.

5. Run Windows Enabler from the file you extracted above, and when it appears in the Task Bar (Bottom right) click the icon in the task bar ONCE, and it will display as 'On.'

6. Run KDZ_FW_UPD.exe. Select 3GQCT in the drop-down menu, which is greyed out. Then Browse to where the KDZ 2.1 file is. (Desktop? V20B_00.kdz) Press the long button just above the information screen, and leave it for a good five to ten minutes. Your phone will enter Emergency Mode two or three times, however you need not do anything. Do not unplug it, do not power your computer down and don't interrupt the process. Your phone will start up completely formatted, and when the KDZ updater has finished, you can unplug your phone and use it again, with 2.1 installed.

usb drivers are installed, at the crucial point the usb device vanishes

Got the same problem here. Wonder how to reflash when the computer cant even detect the device..

I tried dinner time and it said update available, but i did not have enough time before work. Now it says not available.

i see there was an update for Baltics rom @ 10-12, can someone please pull the link of the updated ROM ? Couse my lg software tool dosnt pop up that theres an new update available.
