Hardware Hard Reset Keys not working

Hard resetting using the hardware buttons (holding both send and end keys then pressing the reset button using the stylus) is not working on my omnia. i discovered this the other day when i somehow messed with my registry and the i900 kept on rebooting. i tried to hard reset using the hardware keys but it did not work. as a solution, i flashed the phone using a different rom in order to get the phone working again but still i can't hard reset using the hardware buttons.

i again tried flashing back to the stock rom, and again, hardware hard reset does not work. any ideas? i had my lcd screen replaced about two months ago i think. could it be related to that that somehow a wire or something was not reconnected properly?

I have the same problem. I didn't change anything in my Omnias hardware.
