Just need help flashing an orange uk desire to default htc.

Dont want to do it though if I wont be able to get the htc updates automatically, and dont need a2sd, I just want a generic desire.

Steps are simple then. Create a goldcard. Then download Generic rom to your pc and run the rru.exe form your pc with usb connected to your device.

I think you might need to install the android sdk for some drivers not sure if they auto install.

The goldcard link is for a HTC Tattoo but just follow everything up til step 18. Then at step 19 execute the rru.exe you downloaded.

Thanks you for your resposne.

I've heard mention of wifi not working after recieving an update from htc do you know if the method you suggested would have any issues like that, or can anyone else comment on their experiences using this method?
