Guest JampoTT Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 Hi folks, one of the best features on my previous phone (SL45) was the ability to receive a receipt when sending SMS which told you "delivered / not delivered" which was very handy for knowing when people had their mobile switched off. When they finally switched on, you'd get the "delivered" message come through.... Is there a way to invoke this on the SPV? Had a quick flick through the setup and didn't stumble accross it.......

Guest JampoTT Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 Thanks for the answer(s). Was hoping for a way to have it on by default.... but nevermind... Is this something they can/might fix with a software update or reckon its just how its going to be ad infinitum?
Guest Bazz Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 No idea. AFAIK delivery reports are free to the customer so the cynical amongst you might say this is an attempt by Orange to cut down on them as I presume they cost Orange they same as a normal SMS ;-)
Guest ClintEastman Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 They need to sort this one out! It would be handy if the receipts had the contact's name, not there number (or is that just happening to me?)
