Guest androiduser1 Posted June 19, 2010 Report Posted June 19, 2010 So it's been a month since Google presented Froyo 2.2 at te I/O event and they said Froyo would be released within the next few weeks. Well, where the hell is the OTA update? Anyone in the United States with the official update? I have a rooted and non-rooted Nexus One so I know it's not because of an unlocked bootloader or recovery image.

Looks like it's close here's a post from a Googler testing FRF72: http://www.google.com/buzz/118249005460047...am-beta-testing "My build is FRF72 and it's not rough at all, so I'm guessing they're pretty close to wrapping this up." Obviously nothing official, but nonetheless, posted to Google Buzz. It's not out yet (that' we know for sure) but it does look close. There was quite some talk about a june release, and I suspect G is going to try to keep to that on the N1. (Might squeeze it in on 30 June!)

I have the AT&T version of the Nexus One and I thought I read somewhere on here that some users who have the T-Mo version already got the push update... They are taking too long with this...
Guest jreddekopp Posted June 19, 2010 Report Posted June 19, 2010 ...I thought I read somewhere on here that some users who have the T-Mo version already got the push update... To my knowledge, the only phones that have received the update are those that belong to certain members of the press and Google employees; and, of course, those who manually installed the FRF50 release

The update for both version of the phone was the same. There was confusion about this. There have been no OTA froyo updates outside of a very select few (mostly press) There is an FRF72 patch floating around this morning https://android.clients.google.com/packages...50.bc033f9e.zip It's not a complete image, just a patch. This is not an official release, either. This looks like a final widespread beta patch. I think we'll see the OTAs before the end of the month.
