Hey,

I had MCRr3.1 for 2 weeks. and i decided to add A2SD capability.

I've applied the Rom with A2SD to my device. all working (did format as should).

BUT, now when i connect the device to the PC i cant make it Storage.

i mean, i dont have any option to change from Charge only to Storage.

When i open the "Connect to PC" from settings i get crash report :

" The Application Settings (process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

Any taughts ?

P.S, tried to apply the USBFIX zip, same here.

P.S2, when i mount via Clockworkmod recovery its working ok.

I'd create a backup (titanium backup is excellent donateware and free on the market), wipe and reflash via Clockwork Mod. If everything works as expected it could be an app wreaking havoc on your device. Did you install any enhancements via the recovery console? Those can be quite error prone.

Have you disabled HTC Sync in the kitchen? Without that changing mode to storage does not work. Had the same problem. Baked rom again with htc sync and everythig worked.

uninstall htc sync from your pc, also uninstall the driver from your device manager.

reboot your pc and install htc sync again.

Its not related. Same on my OSX.

Also, The Connect To PC crash the device.

Yes, I've removed HTC Sync from the ROM.

You think its the issue ?

If it works in recovery, and does not during normal usage, than I think this could be it.

I had the same problem. Removed HTC Sync from ROM, and than only USB debugging worked.

I've checked again, my previous ROM had no HTC SYNC also and the feature worked.

So its probably not this.

Just for the record Rom Manager 2.0.0.4 had some issues with ext partitions fixed in 2.0.0.5, so that could have been the cause for the error you were experiencing wiping your ext partition.
