Guest WallOfSound Posted June 20, 2010 Report Posted June 20, 2010 1st post on this forum and i'll make it a quick one. What's the quickest and easiest way (don't care if it's bluetooth or wi-fi) to transfer files from my computer to my pulse without using the USB cable? I use es file explorer atm and love its simplicity for browsing network shares but the actual file transfers are ludicroulsy slow. Copying an album over my wi-fi network from computer to computer takes about 30 seconds, using es and over the same network it takes five minutes to get the album onto my phone. There's got to be something quicker than that surely or is there some technical reason why transfering files to a simcard takes forever this way? So how do you guys do it or do you all just use the USB cable? Any help appreciated.
Guest domjant Posted June 20, 2010 Report Posted June 20, 2010 Try swiFTP from the market (or http://code.google.com/p/swiftp/), it's a free FTP server for Android
Guest Sh4d0w940 Posted June 20, 2010 Report Posted June 20, 2010 I use the usb cable and adb so i dont need to reboot because i use A2SD. You can also use an http file server and download the files via phone browser over wifi. Sh4d0w940
