HTC IME port?

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone here had the skills required to port the HTC IME that is working on the Nexus?

I tried the Nexus port but alas it doesn't work ... wishful thinking!

I'm currently using Swype as main keyboard and really happy with it, but thought this might be even better!!!
