Guest pigra Posted June 21, 2010 Report Posted June 21, 2010 Hello, Since I migrated to 2.1 bin, I cannot use my car's bluetooth. I'm still able to connect but when I call, my phone disconnects and loose the bluetooth link. After few seconds it reconnects by itself. I have the case with the european car SEAT ALTEA (group VAG) I tested with the first beta verison 14f... and now with the 1.100.05 bin. With or witout LCR... The contacts and call logs are synchronizing, only the calls have an issue. I asked to a colleague to test with Eclair HTC Desire, he had no problem at all. Do you have the case in your cars ? Audi, Volksvagen, Skoda, Seat or any other brand mark.
Guest pigra Posted June 21, 2010 Report Posted June 21, 2010 It seems to be working now when applying LCR 1.7 Need some more testing but hte last two calls didn't disconnect... This LCR stuff is really an impressive piece of work, thanks a lot to you devs!!!

Guest pigra Posted June 22, 2010 Report Posted June 22, 2010 (edited) New test on a PEUGEOT 207 (my wife's car). Acer liquid in 1.100.05 with LCR 1.7 : KO HTC Desire in stock 2.1 : OK. The issue with the LCR liquid is that there is no prompt to type the 1234 code. So the pairing is refused by the car. If anybody has an idea of the location of the pairing conf file on Android, I could inject the 1234 for my car device, maybe it's just an UI issue. To be continued... No new test right now with the SEAT Altea, I'll post here when I have some news. Edited June 22, 2010 by pigra
Guest mmkim Posted June 23, 2010 Report Posted June 23, 2010 one thing you rememer that is donut is a donut system. liquid (e) is e=eclair system to acer on liquid. eclair kernel is acer thing, but long time no eclair kernel have out by acer.(too bad factory). but one is one , two is two. two things is a different system by donut & eclair. not easy to solved eclair, becuase no acer eclair kernel . ;)

Can you add the Liquid from the 207 (and not the 207 from the Liquid), this way it asks for a PIN number (at least with an A2DP headset, which must behave the same way...)
Guest thasnitch Posted June 23, 2010 Report Posted June 23, 2010 Can you add the Liquid from the 207 (and not the 207 from the Liquid), this way it asks for a PIN number (at least with an A2DP headset, which must behave the same way...) I've gor the exact same problem with my Citroen C4 Picasso, I believe it has the same BT set built in. Desire is OK, Liquid is not... The problem is that the pairing can be initiated only from the phone. This is what happens: -Turn the carkey one quarter so the car's power is on (but doesn't start yet). -Scan for BT devices on your Liquid, it finds the carkit. Pair with it. -On the car's info screen it will ask if it is OK to pair with 'Liquid', do this. -Immediately it will show on the car's info screen that the pairing failed. Normally you would be prompted on the phone to enter the PIN (1234) A real bummer as it is a great carkit with great functions like all contacts showing up in the car's screen and using the dials on the steering wheel for all functions.
Guest pigra Posted June 23, 2010 Report Posted June 23, 2010 I retryied today in my Altea, it's still working. The only change is migration from LCR 1.6 to 1.7... But in the 207 no way to make it work.
Guest Riekr Posted June 23, 2010 Report Posted June 23, 2010 i have the same problems with an alpine blutooth car kit since eclair: it connects but disconnect after 1 minute or less. when i try to listen music from my phone there's no way to connect. the only way to place a call is from the phone (not the radio) but i still receive phone calls on my car kit. if connected (after a call and within a minute) and i try to listen phone music maybe it works.. maybe not. i still have to try to upgrade the car kit firmware ;)
