removing root

Since im new to android, forgive the beginner question,

In the event i need to return my phone - having cover on it, i assume O2 will refuse a rooted phone?

If this is the case is there an easy way to go back from the root? I assume you can flash the stock ROM but as i can see the one posted by Paul is rooted already - so where would i get a copy of the stock unrooted ROM?
