Guest ClintEastman Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 It's part of Plus! DME http://www.microsoft.com/windows/plus/dme/dmehome.asp And from what i hear it works with smartphone!
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 Wow, that does look cool. Looks to have 'AvantGo' type functionality? Now we need someone to confirm it works! P
Guest Rob.P Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 Can you confirm that? Cause I read through the some of the documentation and couldn't see any support for Smartphone.
Guest The Futures Bright Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 I have it, and cant get it to do anything, ISPM and Stoarage card can be selected, but so far all i have got it to achieve is create an empty Sync & Go folder on the storage card. :? It attempts to install Plus Sync & Go for Pocket PC and bombs out and returns to the homescreen on the SPV so it looks like it's not compatible as yet with the SPV. ;)
Guest Rob.P Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 It seems our lives now hinge on updates of all kinds, well I suppose that'll replace my nightmares about progress bars ;)
Guest darrellt Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 This software is currently only available in the US isn't it?
Guest The Futures Bright Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 I bought it and downloaded it fine here in the UK and paid for it with a UK CC. ;)
Guest darrellt Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 Future can you point me to the site where I can do the same. All I can find is the Microsoft site that tells me I need a US CC and offers a US location. Also I guess you can answer whether the new Plus pack works with the SmartPhone? Cheers...
Guest The Futures Bright Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 Yes thats where i bought it. It only gives you the choice of USA but works fine for a UK CC. If you are referring to the batch MP3 - WMA converter in the Plus Digital Media Edition, yes it works fine. ;)
Guest darrellt Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 Thanks for the tip Future (TFB).
