My Liquid came today from Acer repair service in Barcelona, and it was sent with 1.6 Donut Rom and returned with this one:

Model: Liquid

Firmware Update: 2.1-update1

Baseband: A1-04.02.01

Kernel Version: 2.6.29

Compilation Number: Acer_LiquidE_1.100.05_EMEA_GEN1

Unfortunately it seems that the 1.100.05 is official... i hope they update it soon because of the sms problem...

Yeah it was official because of the version number went from 0.016 to 1.100, but there are more recent ones than that floating around that has the SMS fixed. Hopefully Acer has moved on to working on a 2.2 update now.
