Here you go:

It was just what came with the phone

its 2GB

Results

Write Speed 3mb/s

Read speed 4mb

Apparantly Class 2?

I will have another go just to be sure

Results

Write 2mb/s

Read Speed

4mb/s

What does this tell me

Also As I am currenly running this application on apps to sd surely that's affecting the results. Evaluation appreciated.

OK, the SD that I got with my pulse is a class 2. More than likely yours is too.

Classes:

* Class 2 offers a guaranteed transfer speed of 2 MB/s

* Class 4 offers a guaranteed transfer speed of 4 MB/s

* Class 6 offers a guaranteed transfer speed of 6 MB/s

* Class 10 offers a guaranteed transfer speed of 10 MB/s

Transfer being both read and write, and you usually go on the slowest of the 2 readings.

So yours looks to me like a class 2 too....

As for the app running from the SD; not sure to be honest.

Here you go:

hmm.... it reports my class 2, class4 and class6 cards are all class2!

;) Works well then...

Very quick google around has revealed CrystalDiskMark Windows disk speed testing. The FAQ mentions SSD testing.

I've not used it myself, so have fun. Looking at some of the tests, you may want to backup your SD first :(
