Guest Beverly Howard Posted June 22, 2010 Report Posted June 22, 2010 (edited) fwiw and based on a decade of struggling with PDF's on pocketpc's just saw an announcement that Google now has a PDF to text converter that might be of value to mobile users since text is much more manageable than PDF. Haven't tinkered with it yet, but have high hopes. From experience the usual blockade is that PIE doesn't support file uploads (not sure about the current versions of winmob pie) One possibility of addressing this is if the site accepts files from a url... if so, you can use a ppc ftp util to send the file to a web location, then use the file's resultant url to "upload" the file. Just noticed that it can also convert images... i.e. fax image files or camera images... looking forward to that. Hope that this information is of value.
