[THEME] WTME for LCR 1.7

This is not a port of any interface! It's just a weird theme.

Hello everyone, as you know malez released his awesome LCR 1.7 not long ago.

More, in the web appeared a full Galaxy S dump, so I just mixed it's drawables with NexTHEME and with Smoked Glass and got this:

-Framework and app icons are from Galaxy S.

-Themed apps are from NexTHEME

-Lock Sliders are from Smoked Glass

-Notification area is like LCR 1.7, if you use Android notifications.

Calendar app is unthemed, changing anything in it made it force close oO .

Please note that I don't know how to change Status Bar background in the Stream dump, so it's still plain black, fortunately the Galaxy S status bar icons are transparent ;).

Remember to do a Nandroid Backup before flashing this!

Here's the theme: http://www.mediafire.com/?ini4mmznzwm

Vending.apk with Stock Icon for those who pay attention to that stuff: http://www.mediafire.com/?jwmzdnzxden

Little bonus, Galaxy S Live Wallpapers, thanks to persiansown from XDA: http://kanged.net/up/files/5/kernels/signed-SamsungLWPs.zip

Flash it via recovery. And note that they make the launcher laggy but they're beautiful.

Enjoy.

Left it because I thought it looked better than stock xD.

Anyway uploading Vending.apk with Stock Icon.

Dude this is a beautiful theme.

You are really talented at this. You need to add a donate link.

Would it be possible for you to consider adding the Android 2.0 lockscreen to this? http://android.modaco.com/content/acer-liq...2-0-lockscreen/

Or maybe tell me how to do it. Kinda scared to try it myself. I tried doing it with Streamochony and it got stuck at the boot animation (had to go to Recovery and reflash Streamochony because I forgot to make a Nanandroid). Too afraid to try this with LCR 1.7 as it is Stream based.

Thank you very much.

I plan to open a wiki page for themes with LCR.

Do you think it could be a good idea ?

So I will do it.

I need a really important information

This I will update some app in the patch, a little more space will be used on system.

I you are under LCR 1.7 and have installed, the theme, could you give me the result of this

adb shell df

(If theme uses too much space, you could have issues installing patch. That is to know i must plan something special for this case)

Malez, I just remembered I deleted a couple of apps as well (notificatoins/acerclock/acerlauncher/email/MusicA/MoreLocale/widgets/couple of others)

Also bais, with this theme I have been having a problem with the Gmail. It deletes on the phone but not off my actual GMail account.

I am wondering if you changed the Gmail apk or something and if you could provide the one from LCR.

Thanks.

Here's the original one (unthemed) : http://www.mediafire.com/?m4q2nwcqdzm

I'm sorry some apps can bug because of Stream dump and this is the kind of stuff that I, in most cases, can't fix by any other way than restoring the original one.

Anyway, I did a FRF50 port, but I would like to know first, is there a way to get white text on black bar? Thanks.

Hey man thanks alot. I ran into this problem:

Tried installing through ES File Explorer, did not work

Tried installing through ADB, I get this:

Failure [iNSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_UNEXPECTED_EXCEPTION]

Posted

You must push it via adb.

adb remount

adb push Gmail.apk /system/app
