Dear gurus,

I am trying to create my own Rom using the dsixda Android kitchen but run into problems with the superuser.

I have a rooted desire. Rooted via r6.

What I did:

1. Download dsixda Android kitchen

2. Extract Rom.zip from 1.19.707.7

3. Run Android kitchen in ubuntu

4. Add SU (add busybox as well as it say its recommended

5. Download Rom manager in my rooted desire and flash the Rom build by Rom kitchen.

The flash was successful and I can see superuser in my app list. However when I install Rom manager and try to backup, it hang at superuser app. I believe su was unsuccessful. So, I start the phone in recovery and restore the rooted version.

Can gurus please kindly enlighten me what additional steps I need to do in order to created a rooted official 1.19.707.7 rom?

Thanks in advance!!!
