My request is for a bin of the north american rogers liquid e

If anyone can provide that I could use that to base a north america compatible rom or something -

or will using a system dump of the rogers rom with the leaked bin work fine?

I have flashed the leaked bin and only GPS does not work at this point ;(

Maybe that is related to a specific lib or configuration of the EMEA vs the north america

If I have a system dump of the rogers rom maybe using the GPS lib from that would be a solution?

Sorry if this is un-necessary but Im not sure where to post as it relates to Rogers phones only

try .15 bin, it solve gps problem for me-any navigation app (igo, sygic) lost satellites after 20-30 sec

.15 is same baseband

need baseband .01.01

.05 and .15 use .02.01

....

please someone with a baseband .01.01 bin help me out! would like gps

The 0.016.01EMEA bin used the A1-04.01.01 baseband- http://android.modaco.com/content/acer-liq...6-01-emea-gen1/

It was the bin which was leaked right before 1.000.05EMEA so it was the last unofficial/beta rom. I believe it was fairly stable.

Try it out, share the results.

still broken - definatly thanks for finding that - at least I can stock rom the phone and get a warranty replacement if it comes to that and they should be none the wiser :lol:

What you could do is to try and find xda/modaco Rogers Liquid E users (maybe edit title/first post of your current threads) who have flashed a bin like 1.000.05 with the 01.02 baseband (I am sure they are some out there. All roms are based on bins with this baseband) and see if their GPS works with the different baseband (mine worked on both .01 with 0.016 and .02 with 1.00.05 as well as many others here).

If their GPS works, then yours is a result of a hardware malfunction and you are entitled to a replacement. Get stock rom/stock recovery on there and take it in.
