Froyo on Stock EPF30 (Vodafone Germany)

Hi all,

My friend is having Nexus One with Android 2.1 update-1 build EPF30, bought in Vodafone Germany .After following general steps to update to Froyo we get the error E:signature verification failed message as well. from a bit of googling it looks like this upgrade “only” works for build number ERE27. Is there an alternative for the phones with build number EPF30 to upgrade to ERF50 or latest Froyo without rooting or unlocking?

it's in german of course so i don't want to copy it here

basicly its flashing an ERE27 Rom via fastboot

you need erd79

then

fastboot erase cache

fastboot flash userdata userdata.img

fastboot flash boot boot.img

fastboot flash system system.img

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

fastboot reboot

and than you need ere27 from erd70 doing the same
