Web/Browser settings

I hope someone can PLEASE help me as I have searched through the site and cannot seem to find the answers.

Fistly I have installed RYRZY rom V23568, and I am extremely happy with performance and speed. However, since doing so I cannot do 2 things

1) When I go to the "Programs" page and I click/touch the Internet Explorer icon, it loads and begins to connect to the net however before it does it always comes up with the error "Internet explorer cannot download blank" I have checked all settings etc and just cannot find where or what I have missed?

2) On the desktop pages is the page or desktop widget the reads "Internet" with the large picture of the world globe. When I click on it nothing happens how do I 1 set it up to connect to the net or my web browser and 2nd how do I add shortcuts to the page?

I hope someone can help as I have exhausted all possible settings and have even had to redo my rom as I totally stuffed up my settings.......Now I am back to the very first and fresh rom install and really would like to get theses functions working and sorted.
