call me stupid, but i have managed to flash my htc desire to be running on froyo 2.2 custom rom made by richardtrip d/l from this website.

what i would like to know, if anyone willing to tell me, is wht's the different between full rom and kernel update coz the file size is so much different.

by the way in that rom there is no more htc app like the one is used to have with r3.1 by modaco... I love those apps that come with the htc desire, like the world clock with weather forecast the peep and friend stream.....

It seems to be a heavily modded rom and OS, tweaking hardware functionality and selecting certain google apps, because not everything has been added...
