Screwed Screen?

Someone's just chucked their old Omnia i900 my way and I was going to have a play with different ROMs on it.

However, the screen's got a fault - two black lines across it ;)

Do you guys think it's a faulty LCD or a screen connection problem?

Looks like connection problem, I think if the lcd was damaged there will be strange colors. ( I saw both earlier )

Maybe the people that looked at your thread have never encountered this before.

Maybe the people that looked at your useless thread thought jeeez he could have found his answer on google.

You didn't even give it 24 hours.

And after utilizing the wonderful tool of google. Here's what I found.

1. Problem with connection from graphic chip to screen

2. Those particular X coordinates on lcd are just bad.

3. Output of those particular X coordinates on graphic chip are just bad.

4. Ribbon cable connecting lcd to board is bad.

Do some homework before creating a thread and getting mad.
