Guest MIYU-G Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 I try it,but wifi couldn't be opened after flash
Guest persko Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 You need the correct modules for the kernel you are running. modules are loadable system drivers, that are build to the kernel you are running. The kernel resides in the boot partition (mtd2). The modules resides in the system partition (mtd3) in /system/lib/modules. So apart from just flashing a boot.img, you also need to get the matching modules.

Guest persko Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 I agree with Eddy. Looks like the v1.4 DeFroST rom is even based on Pauls rom: Version history: Version 1.4: * FRF83 (from Paul's Nexus build). * Slow market fix You should not be mixing components from different rom's, unless you know what you are doing. You could of cause try to extract the module files from the DeFroST rom, and replace the ones in your /system/lib/modules; but as I said, if you do not know exactly what you are doing, you are at a big risk of bricking your phone. (you would need to be in recovery mode, and mount /system rw to replace the files)
