Guest bbawden Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 Hi all I've got this very odd bug that I can't get to the bottom of. When you connect your phone to the PC, you can choose Charge only, HTC Sync, Disk drive, or Internet sharing. You can also choose a default so that it won't prompt you every time. I have chosen Charge only as my default, as normally I don't need to access the sdcard or anything. If I want to change it I can choose the option from the pull down notifications area. But even though I have Charge only set as the default, and the notifications section says Charge only, it is in fact mounting my sdcard every time (Windows autoplay comes up, and the sdcard is not available to the phone). If I select the option in the notifications area, leave it on the default of Charge only and click Done, it does then unmount the sdcard and continue charging as it should. While this is minor, I'm finding it really annoying. Has anyone else got this problem, and more importantly does anyone know how I can fix it? Thanks, Ben
Guest ragflan Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 Some apps have a setting that automatically mount the sdcard into disk drive mode. For example: iSyncr. That app is used to sync your iTunes library to Android. You might be using some applications that automatically mount the sdcard into disk drive mode. iSyncr has the option to turn it off. Do you have Market apps that sync stuff.. check that.

Guest ragflan Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 No problem at all man. I was going to flash r19 and was going through the forums to see what problems people were having with r19 and just stumbled across yours. I only know this because I was reading the iSyncr FAQs and it was one of the topics. Haha. Anyway I'm gonna go flash r19 now with Froyo. Hope everything goes well. Take care dude.
