Simlocked Orange Desire

Hi, i updated my desire a couple of days ago to the newer 1.21.405.2 rom which simlocked my phone, i have read why it has done this, but it was a bit late. How do i get a working phone again, as i don't want to pay for an unlock code? Thanks

You need to flash an older radio to it (or pay for a code ;) )

So i could still run the newer rom, i just need to downgrade the radio?
