Trouble with default web-browser, Google Goggles and Google Sky Map (AFAIK)

Good day, fellow Android users.

I've recently flashed MoDaCo Custom ROM r19 for the HTC Desire (FR83) using a GoldCard and the fake-flash method to access ClockWork's recovery image.

Everything is working really fine, the overall performance has exceeded the one I had using stock ROMs (varying from 6-8 MFLOPS at Linpack to a mind blowing 45 MFLOPS), which is pretty nice.

But I found trouble trying to install/use the following applications:

  • Android's Default Web-Browser (the process crashes when I try to load a webpage)
  • Google Sky Map (Android reboots to the splash when I install it)
  • Google Goggles (Installation was fine, but the process crashes upon opening it)

(AFAIK)

I can live without those (I use Dolphin HD as the default webbrowser), but I would definitely like having them on my Desire.

It would be really nice if you could give me some pointers to what I shall do next.

(PS. Forgive my bad English, I'm Spanish.)

(PS2. YEAH, I love stereotyped PSs.)

Did you wipe your device prior to flashing MCR?

Yes I did.

Yes I did.

I would try a re-flash if I was you?

Just re-flashed and the trouble is still there. Neither Android Web-Browser nor Goggles work. I haven't tried Google Sky Map, but I'd bet my right hand it won't work...

May sound crazy, but have you rebooted your phone after you flashed it.

Flash -> 1st Boot -> Reboot again?

I found that this solved my "Accounts & Sync" force close issues?

Is this a kitchen bake, or a pre-bake?

Did you add anything in yourself?

I have, indeed, rebooted. I did this:

Flash -> 1st Boot -> Reboot -> Oh crap, things doesn't work! -> Reflash -> 2nd 1st Boot -> Reboot

It still doesn't work. :/

Edit: This is a kitchen bake and I haven't added anything myself.

Good news everyone!

I just worked out how to make Android's Web-Browser to work. I cleared its data through the Applications pref-pane and it works like a charm now.

But I still encounter issues with Google Goggles and Google Sky Maps. I also cleared Google Goggle's data, but it crashes upon opening it.
