Problem with GPS after installing r3.1

Hi everyone. I recently rooted my HTC Desire and installed the MoDaCo Custom ROM r3.1 on it (r3.1 ROM with default MoDaCo additions and Chinese input). Before I rooted it, the GPS worked fine; I would get a signal in under 10 seconds. Now, however, the GPS seems to no longer work. Even after a few minutes, I would not receive a signal. This does not seem to be a problem with Google Maps or the Navigation apps, since I downloaded the GPS Test app and still I am unable to receive a signal. Also, it may or may not be important to note that I did not apply the "optional update" for the radio found in the "14/Jun r6 riskfreeroot" topic.
