weird problem with flashing...

Hi everybody...

I have little problem flashing my omnia.

I should mention that i`ve flashed my omnia at least 20 times till now, and also managed to bricked my device once. Did read SECTOR`s tutorial,

have secondary XP PC that I use primarily for flashing, with no firewall and antivirus , other USB connection....bla ...bla....

I had tarils DXID1 rom, which works flawlessly, but is a bit heavy on battery. So i tried to install his previous releases DXHL3, DXIA2, DXIA5 to see

if they are more battery friendly. Installed DXHK3 rom (stated in tarils update tutorial), and after that CANT install any other rom (cooked or official

(from exe) ). When I start update procedure i get the folowing.

EBOOT Downloaded(or something like that)...

restarting twice(or something like that)....[/codebox]

...and after that nothing....after 15-20 minutes i unpluged device, restarted it and previous rom works fine, normal boot sequence. This question

was asked before but wasnt answered properly. If someone has the solution please share.

I realy wouldn't like to brick my omnia again :-)

update...:

after who knows how many tries (drivers reinstall, battery removing, different versions...) i finally get it running with the taril DXIA5 rom.

I`m not sure that is rom dependent. I started flashing proces (from EXE file-not grand prix), and this time after downloading EBOOT it stated CRC error and stoped update

process. I bootet up my omnia, and it wouldnt go the full boot procedure-just up to the omnia logo screen. Flashed it again after that and everything worked fine.
