Guest il_cholo Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 2.8-inch QVGA  :D :D why huawei don´t release 2.1 or 2.2 for us instead of selling this crap, in the basics they are all similar piece of hardware with a couple of differences
Guest BigBearMDC Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 why huawei don´t release 2.1 or 2.2 for us instead of selling this crap, in the basics they are all similar piece of hardware with a couple of differences Yeah, but look at it that way: All phones have similar specs, some of them will get Android updates ... see what I mean? Porting them will be MUCH easier, as they will only require minor (if any) modification in the best case  I really look forward to the day when Huawei will release its first 2.2 phone. Best regards, BigBear

Other (bigger) manufacturers have stated that they won't be upgrading their Android phone or are leaving their users completely in the dark. Tbh I think it works like this: Huawei develops a 2.1 device (Pulse mini) and ports it to other devices Huawei develops a 2.2 device and ports it to other devices
Guest tabor56 Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 if this is same price as Pulse mini I would definately get it.
Guest Speckles Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 If it had a display the size of the Pulse or bigger, then I would think about getting it. If it had 256MB of more of RAM, then chances are higher. Same goes for an upgraded CPU  Then again, I'm guessing anyone here would.

Tbh if you have small thumbs the pulse mini is 100% better than the pulse. (The screen size isn't that noticeable unless you put your big-ol' thumbs on it and try to type :D) The ram in the pulse mini removes the CPU bottleneck and makes the whole device run smooth. Tbh this looks like a 2.2 rom for an unbranded pulse mini
