Guest holybabel Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 MaxSense is only for Manila 2.5 and that isn't working on our beloved Omnia.
Guest DMRO Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 MaxSense is only for Manila 2.5 and that isn't working on our beloved Omnia. Actually Max Sense is BASED on Manilla 2.5 and not FOR Manilla 2.5. And since it doesn't have all the 3D eye candy TouchFlo3D has, there is no reason why it shouldn't work on Omnia. Anyway this interface really looks like a copy of Infinity, which means that if we can't port it for Omnia we could just try to get a theme and widgets to replicate it.
Guest darkside80 Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 Requirements & Compatibilty 1. Supports both WVGA and VGA 2. ROM with Manila/Sense 2.5 ( MaxSense is only available "cooked" in ROM's. As of now there are no intentions of releasing a cab as a "Add On" to Manila/Sense 2.5 ) It is not based....it's a mod for Manila/Sense 2.5.

Even so! it's not like we couldn't run Manilla 2.5 on omnia we just dont have the right 3D Drivers (hence the white squares). And since I can see no 3D in MaxSense, I See no reason why not to try to port it! Furthermore: Resolution has never been a major problem before for porting software! and Since when, have any "intensions of not releasing" ever prevented a cab from being released on XDA or Modaco? I just say: Don't dismiss it before you try it!
Guest joža Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 do you remember when omnia was released xD it's two years  no one isn't going to spend time to make sense working on omnia. i personally traded it for HD2(used two months) and payed 250€ extra :D you cannot even imagine how different can same OS feel on different hardware... just sayin'...
