Just wanted to know what cases you guys use to protect your Nexus One and any recommendations... I'm currently using the black diamond gel case bought from the site "ultra case" and its looking good and all but the one thing that annoys the hell out of me is that I need to take it off everytime I charge it or plug it in because they made the hole for the micro USB slot a bit too small...

Some pictures of the case you guys are currently using would be nice to let me see and help me decide which case I should get.

Thanks.

I also have a Case-Mate. I bought the "Barely There" case as I didn't want to mess up the look of the Nexus One.

Case-Mate: Barely There

They have a black and a silver one. I bought the black one. I love it!

Otterbox for me.... I use the Neoprene sleeve for regular day work and the otterbox for all traveling.

Waterfield "Suede Jacket" Sleeve: http://www.sfbags.com/products/nexus-one-s...uede-jacket.htm

Basically a microfiber sleeve. Similar to what came with my iPod 5G years ago that managed to keep it safe all this time. As minimal as you can get other than a skin, while providing greater protection.

(I've used Zagg and Martins Field products in the past and prefer now to not use anything directly on the screen)

I went with a Zagg InvisibleShield because at the time, there were no good hard cases. I use InvisibleShields for my iPod, iPad, Computer and N1. Keeps them from scratching and gives it a little shock absorbing too.

My pocket along with all my keys coins etc. ever since lost the sleeve that came with it at the end of January. Amazing thing is there's not a mark on it.

Same here. Can't be arsed with a case or screen protector. Ever since I saw the video of a guy going mental on the screen with his keys to show how tough it is.

I don't use a case either... mine looks the same as the day I got it (day one)... I use the Car Dock every day so I can't have a case. If you just put it in a pocket without anything else then I see no need for a case unless you're a realllllly clumsy person.

This is perfect for me. Lost the sleeve I got with N1 recently.

I bought myself the Norêve Google Nexus One Tradition Leather Case:

It's a little pricy but it's a true beauty. I use it with the metal belt clip. This think is unbreakable, I have one for my N900, it is scratched indeed but the phone is like on its first day.

Case-Mate 'Tough Case'

+1

No way I'm going naked. I've dropped it a few times and I've been glad of the case.

I dropped my N1 while fumbling with my keys and much to my dismay it made a little chip in one of the corners. I immediately went and got a Seidio Innocase II and am very happy with it. It's a snug fit, doesn't really add much to the weight, and looks pretty nice. It also protects the screen if dropped on a flat surface (which being clumsy I did the other day!). Well worth buying a case I think

Flexi plastic case from Amazon for 69 cents. Works great. Switched to this after trying the rubber case. Rubber one offers better protection for drops but id difficult to pull out of pocket esp if you are sitting.

I picked up on Ebay for around $16 shipped a Body Glove snap-on case. Has a great grip to it, also can be used with or without belt-clip attachment.

Included belt clip has a "kick-stand" that allows for setting the phone upright on your desk in both landscape and portrait modes.

Unlike most "snap-on" type cases, this has a slot that you simply slip a coin into, twist, and the case now comes off easily. Most of the other snap on cases you have to fight to get off, and in most cases will either damage or break the case in the process.

I'm sold on the Body Glove cases and will recommend them to anyone.
