Guest robot1000 Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 I just came across a deal on HUKD for the Wildfire on contract which works out to be £11.24pm over 24 months http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/708788/htc-...0-possible-265- How does this compare with the Pulse (apart from the slightly smaller screen)?

Guest robot1000 Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 For one, it has 384 MB RAM That's double what the pulse has, right?
Guest Fusion0306 Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 That's double what the pulse has, right? I think so, yes
Guest aidanj Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 the pulse has 192 MB of ram, but the actual usable ram on 2.1 roms is worryingly around 30 MB maximum - for me anyway.
Guest robot1000 Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 It seems to have double the RAM and ROM of the Pulse Only downside would be the screen size and lower resolution

It looks like a good deal, it will probably be much faster than the pulse and will actually be able to multitask.. But after half a year or so you will probably hate it again.. Think future proofing here
Guest niko1986 Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 But after half a year or so you will probably hate it again.. Think future proofing here :D Thats the problem tech advances faster than our wallets :D I do wish I hadn't taken a 2 year contract on my pulse with T-Mobile ... didnt expect the PAYG version to have such a good sale a month later  From now on i'm going to buy a phone cash and then take on a rolling contract.

Think future proofing here  The way I'm looking at it is a £11 Sim only deal which has 300 minutes, 300 txts and 3gb of data The mobile phone is an added bonus
