Missing features from Android 2.1

I have been using the Android system on other phones and really love the way it works, on my other phones the HTC Hero & Nexus One, they have the option to save all your setting to your google account, such as phone settings, wireless accounts and passwords, meaning when you did a factory reset or transferred the sim to another phone with android and logged in with your google account all the information downloaded to the phone saving a lot of time setting it up. I noticed that this feature is not present when using the Galaxy S which is very annoying, as this is my third one as the first two did not function properly and had to be replaced, having the option to have everything saved to your google account is a great feature when moving to a new phone. I'm hoping that this feature will appear on this phone some time in the future on some of the modded roms by our good friend Paul O'Brien. :lol:
