Full browser please not mobile version

Anyone know how to stop the Streak being recognised as a mobile device, and then being directed to a websites mobile version.

Would love to correct this

Any ideas?

Might have something to do with the User Agent, but I wouldnt have a clue TBH, I'm 26 hours in to my first Android device after using Windows Mobile for 13 years! I feel so useless and dumb!

Seems like the phone needs an update as changing the user agent in both the android browser and dolphin just results in the mobile page.

Using Opera on WinMo, there was a special settings page where you could change all kinds of weird and wonderfull settings. You could also do something in the registry.

Theres a question i wanna know: Does Android have a registy like WinMo? Android is based on Linux, so im guessing ...no? My knowlege on Linux is just a little bit more than my knowlege on Android which is nothing! Ahhh im just a little Windows fan boy in forigen teritory!

hmmm thats strange... usually you just need to change the user agent.

Yeah, if you use the browser debug it reverts when you close the browser.

There is another thread I started about this a week or so ago, if you read it you'll see where we went and how far we got with it.
