Guest kno1 Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 (edited) Hi, I'm having a problem with google maps, google navigation and the android market. They only seem to work on wifi. When on 3g, Maps only loads the initial view, but as soon as you scroll or zoom in, the new map parts don't load (you get a "data connection lost" message). The same for the navigation. As soon as you deviate from the course, it can't find an updated course and your stuck with "data connection lost" messages. The market is also not working, you get connection error messages and no downloads succeed. The webbrowser however has no problem browsing to websites nor has the email apply any problems downloading emails. I have this on MCR r3.1, with a2sd and a2sd+. Froyo r19 and r20 a2sd and a2sd+. Only my nandroid backup of the r6 root bootimage doesn't have this problem. Anybody have any ideas? Remco Edited June 29, 2010 by kno1
Guest persko Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 (edited) I am on MCR 3.1 with a2sd+, and I have seen similar problems when I use an application "power control" to switch on/off mobile network, then I found, that if I hold the power button, and select to switch mobile network off, and then afterwords back on, the mobile network works OK. But did you only have trouble with maps and market or with all internet apps. I'm able to browse just fine. Anybody know any logs I can take a look at? Remco
