Get back to factory build

Hi

I downgraded my N1 to the factory build ERD79 using the UPDATE file 22607-ERD79-update-nexusone-stock-signed.zip

Everything seems to be ok and the menu on the N1 now shows ERD79. But Ive been waiting for a week now to get any OTA updates, still nothing at all.

I then tried to flash the Nexus again using PASSIMG_Passion_Google_WWE_1.01.1700.1_ERD79_release_signed. And there is the problem, I still get the message "main version is older" even though it is supposed to be the same build. I suppose this is cuz I used the update file to downgrade, which doesnt flash the bootloader, hboot and so on. Is there any way to really get back to ERD79 using PASSIMG (I tried different tutorials without success, deleting cache and userdata, flashing the bootloader manually and so on)? Could this btw be the reason why I didnt get any OTA updates?

thanks

regards

Peter

After u flash ERD79, try installing ERE27, then install FRF50 >> FRF83 or from FRF50 go directly to FRF85B

Thx, but I know about how I can upgrade manually. The goal although was to get the phone back to factory settings...

When you say back to factory settings you don't mean re-locking the bootloader, right? Coz this us not possible yet.

ERD79 is the shipping ROM, ERE27 is 2.1 update1

So, be more specific when you say back to factory settings.

thought I was specific when I said "Is there any way to really get back to ERD79?"

and no, I am not trying to relock the booloader.

I was only curios why I got the message "main version is older" when I tried to use the PASSIMG for ERD79 while actually already being on ERD79...
