Guest Willz Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Is it possible to do? Because I've noticed recently when I've been texting, it's pressing keys that I'm not touching and it's becoming irritating. I thought the screen may need it.
Guest JimJam707 Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 I don't think you can calibrate capacitive screens (then again, I may be wrong) but Is the screen cover still on? That messed up my mums phone once. Dust gets caught under it.

Guest _sin_ Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Actually, yeah it is. I keep meaning to take that off now, but it's so hard to get off. Try below the menu/home button,it's much easier than picking the edges.

Guest meinnit Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 I had this problem a few days ago a few hours after I dropped my phone. It would select to the opposite side of the screen where I was pressing! It only lasted a few minutes and eventually fixed itself. Strange

YOUR HELP WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED
Guest BigBearMDC Posted August 27, 2010 Report Posted August 27, 2010 Its not possible to recalibrate the screen. It always is as accurate as it was when you got it (unless you have physically damaged something). The offset is specified in the touchscreen driver. If you want to recalibrate it you'd have to edit the kernel, recompile and repack it. It has been reported earlier that high moisture can mess up the input. Once I had wet fingers and it was very hot in my room (30 degrees C) my Pulse reacted to my finger although it was 2mm away from the display. Best regards, BB
