Can't start my phone..

Hi.

I just tried to install superboot, but.. I think something screwed up. cause now when I try to start my phone, it loads everything as usual, but when the Acer/Android logo dissapears my screen goes black.

I tried starting my phone while holding vol. down+camera button+power on. This is what it says:

"Partition checksum

Got latest Éclair build for Liquid.

Anyone know how to fix this? :/

*edit* added a **fail** that I forgot..

*eidt #2* I found some kinda menu where I could root, and do a factory reset.. But can't find it again, what keys to press? D:

*edit#3* Didn't work to reset to factory, trying to apply the rom I had on my SD card, if that doesn't work.. I'm badword, or?

*edit#4* Got my phone working with evil eclairs v1.8.1 or something like that, but my computer doesn't recognize my phone now.. <- My new problem..

no you should try to put the phone in the recovery/ superboot and than connect it to your pc and look if the acer flash tool detects it.

if it does so you can flash the bin again and try to flsh recovery /superboot again;) sould work give me a feadback...

Nope, doesn't find my phone in recovery either.. It's "Liquid recovery Lickonn Malez", in case you wonder.

I've tried 4 different USB ports. So it's nothing wrong with my usb-ports, I've rebooted my comp and all that basic stuff.. Nothing works :/

Settings -> Applications -> Development -> Enable USB debugging?

flash malez recovery image !!! not superboot and put the phone in recovery than you must be able to flahs a bin again and try everything again!!!

Sorry, but I can't understand what you mean..

When I go to Recovery mode, it's Malez and Lickonns recovery, so actually.. Your post didn't make any sense at all for me..

Except for you saying something about something I already got, if you read a post over yours:)

And try to flash a different rom.

Do you have the latest version of malez recovery? 0.5.3? If not, flash the new image-

Evil Eclair ROM is a very old ROM and is not fully functional with the latest bin.

Make sure you have the latest version of malez recovery, place a different ROM onto your sdcard and flash a different ROM.

05EMEA, didn't know it was a newer than that one:P

And, I just flashed to Evil Eclair cause it was the only ROM I had on my sdcard, I wanted to have it for 2-3 months ago. But I never flashed:P

I should just put the new malez recovery on my sdcard and launch in recovery, so I can flash it, or?

Is it possible that your USB cable is damaged? Have you tried any other USB cables?

USB debugging is enabled.

And the Acer Flashing Tool does not recognize it? Can the phone be recognized through ADB? (http://theunlockr.com/2009/10/06/how-to-set-up-adb-usb-drivers-for-android-devices/)

for me my liquid is regognized by the toll if i first put it in recovery and then plug in the usb cable?! that was what i wanted to say;) so do you have got installed all drivers?! if yes install in addition to this the android sdk it will help cuase it will ad adb ...

Did you re-install the drivers? Did that help?

If not, do you have an extra MiniUSB data cable? Try that.

try to put your phone in recovery and aktivate the usb toogle :lol: if this works your phone at least is recognized by your pc and you are able send data to your sd...

As far as the memory card reader goes, don't think it would help much but the included memory card from Acer does have a MicroSD to SD converter. If you have a newer laptop or high end monitor, it should have a direct SD Card slot.

If you can do that, reflash the bin.

Gonna try to reflash now with another rom, that's made for that bin w/e it now was I got:)

And if that doesn't help either, I'll test everything on another computer..

Thx for your help, flashed to LCR 1.7, now it works, perfectly.

USB works, everything works, I'm happy. Ty :lol:
