APP2SD no go

Hi

did a full wipe Sys/dalwik/ext - installed R5.

App2SD does not work.

SD card setup with exd3 (worked on other roms)

Any help ?

MCR R20 (a2sd version)

i am having problems too. i installed R20 in a HTC Desire.

created partitions using livecd + gparted (fat32, ext3, swap). all primary active.

android sees FAT32 partition but i cant see any apps installed in the ext3 partition. i cant move apps in settings/application (sd card is grayed out).

did i do something wrong? also, unrelated - i cant boot into clockwork recovery from rom manager.

i didnt choose rom manager to partition sd card also because i wont the ext3 partition to be 1gb (8gb sdcard).

i do see /system/sd but there is on apps folder here . . . i installed all apps before i partitioned the sdcard (i have 2 sdcards, moved the contents of fat32)

I did NOT get one of the 2.1 releases (3, 4 or 5) propely installed. Wipe, without wipe, A2SD, A2SD+, without A2SD...

Have a SD card with partitions that were create from the recovery image and worked with all older MCRs...

Well looks like you shold be setup OK.

But I left MoDaCo, and installed Villain instead, at this stage MoDaCo is no good.

On Villain - App2SD works out of the box :lol:

I've got A2SD issues aswell. I configured it manually on MCR4 r5 (since i can't use the kitchen), but i keep getting this error when I install apps: "Insufficient space available". Installed apps that i moved to the sdcard work fine though.

I think its cos a2sd might be missing from MCR4 r5 non kitchen version (I did "ls -l system/bin" and there no a2sd file)

Did you manually move apps to sdcard? If so how? (do you copy data/app to system/sd)

i have moved on... i am currently on SetRom 3.6 (compiled from source).

i think SetRom is a great custom mod. i cross my fingers that 720p recording is worked out real soon.
